Our working farm

High Hagg Farm, 400 acres of mixed arable and grazing land, with a small herd of Limousine cattle which we intend to progressively increase and three generations working along side one another.


Machinery has got larger through the years, hence the diversification of the buildings too holiday cottages, so from straw beds for pigs to luxury beds for guests! Helping to keep the sustainable life of buildings and farm.


We hope that been a family run business that we can show our care and ability too provide a very warm welcome and show our devotion for what we do.

We are a working farm with animals that make noises & smells (and NO they don't smell of roses has i'am sure your deposits do either!). And at certain times of the year there is more activity due to calving, harvest, silage & hay making , drying corn, winter housing, weaning of calves & delivery of feeds etc.

Christmas 2017 saw a new arrival too the family "Annabel Lily " who is now the fourth generation living on the farm and in March 2020 a brother "Thomas Micheal". January 2022 also so the addition of Harriet Rose to the family.


What we produce

High Hagg Farm Produces a varied hooray of products , In 2011 we decided to add Limousine cattle to the list , and start producing calf's to rear for butchering and stores. Our Beef is sold locally .The cattle are reared on grass land near by along with our trusted bull Munro who joined us all the way from Stirling from the Grahams herd and are looking forward to seeing his off spring in this coming spring 2019 , 2020 saw Oaklahoma & Power Ranger from the Brontemoor herd near Carlise join the list of sires .The arable side of things , are normally Barley and Wheat with a crop of potato's thrown in for good measure .  Also there's a few pigs camped out in the field in there own little houses .
